How to Find Your Ring Size at Home in India — 3 Easy Methods

Ordering a ring online in India without knowing your ring size? You don’t need to visit a jeweller. Here are three ways to measure your ring size accurately at home, with a complete Indian and international ring size chart.

Method 1: Measure a Ring You Already Own

This is the most accurate method if you have a ring that fits the correct finger.

1. Place the ring flat on a ruler.
2. Measure the internal diameter in millimetres (the distance across the inside of the ring, not including the band itself).
3. Match that measurement to the chart below.

Method 2: Measure Your Finger

1. Cut a thin strip of paper (about 6mm wide).
2. Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger you want to wear the ring on.
3. Mark where the paper overlaps with a pen.
4. Lay it flat and measure the length from the start to the mark in millimetres.
5. This is your finger circumference. Match it to the chart below.

Important: Measure at the end of the day when fingers are slightly swollen. If between sizes, go up one size.
