Ordering a ring online in India without knowing your ring size? You don’t need to visit a jeweller. Here are three ways to measure your ring size accurately at home, with a complete Indian and international ring size chart.
Method 1: Measure a Ring You Already Own
This is the most accurate method if you have a ring that fits the correct finger.
- Place the ring flat on a ruler.
- Measure the internal diameter in millimetres (the distance across the inside of the ring, not including the band itself).
- Match that measurement to the chart below.
Method 2: Measure Your Finger
- Cut a thin strip of paper (about 6mm wide).
- Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger you want to wear the ring on.
- Mark where the paper overlaps with a pen.
- Lay it flat and measure the length from the start to the mark in millimetres.
- This is your finger circumference. Match it to the chart below.
Important: Measure at the end of the day when fingers are slightly swollen. If between sizes, go up one size.

| 5 | 5 | 15.7 | 49.3 |
| 6 | 6 | 16.5 | 51.8 |
| 7 | 7 | 17.3 | 54.4 |
| 8 | 8 | 18.2 | 57.2 |
| 9 | 9 | 19.0 | 59.7 |
| 10 | 10 | 19.8 | 62.2 |
Method 3: Use Our Adjustable Option
Most Unjellic rings are available in an Adjustable variant that fits finger sizes approximately 5–9. If you’re buying as a gift and don’t know the recipient’s size, Adjustable is the safest choice.
Tips for Buying a Ring as a Gift
- Most women in India wear ring sizes 5–7. Size 6 is the most common.
- Men typically wear sizes 8–10.
- When in doubt, size up — a slightly loose ring is more comfortable than a tight one.
- For couple ring sets, measure both partners separately.
